New colour measurement at FEO pays off for customers Fine Earth Oxides has further enhanced its technical facilities to include an upgrade to its full spectrum reflectance system for producing CIE La*b* data and related measurements. This represents an advantage to iron oxide pigment customers who want the highest level of quality control and colour matching. It also provides FEO with the highest quality information for ongoing research and development. The upgrade has been completed and testing procedures are in place. Rod Jasper, Chief Executive of FEO, commented: "The effect of this technology will not be immediately obvious to all of our customers, but there will be an inevitable flow on in terms of new and improved products.
